Introduction to Sikh religious thought and culture:
When: Sunday, March 17 – 11:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. This event is composed of three distinct segments commencing at 11:30AM, 1:00PM, and 2:00PM. AILF members and friends are invited to participate in all or any portion of this program according to their interests and availability.
Where: SEWA Gurdwara; 10590 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA 30075
Who: The SEWA Gurdwara congregation welcomes AILF members and friends to their Roswell worship center.
Commencing at 11:30 AM:Attending as participants and/or observers at the regular weekly worship service of this Sikh congregation which is open to persons of any and all traditions.
Commencing at 1:00PM: Joining with the congregation in their community mid-day meal known as “lungar” which is a free traditional Sikh charitable contribution to the community.
Commencing at 2:00 PM: Receiving an introductory presentation prepared for AILF members and friends on Sikh religious, philosophic, and cultural thought and practices followed by Q & A and open discussion.
Registration:There is no charge for this event. The Gurdwara congregation welcomes us as their guests. Pre-registration is not required.
